This past Thursday was a big, big day. Match day and my birthday! We were lucky to have Mike's mom, sister and our 2 favorite nieces here to help us celebrate both events!
We already knew that Mike would be doing his ophthalmology residency here at Wake Forest, and we were happy to find out that he will be doing his internal medicine internship at Moses Cone in Greensboro. This means no moving and no stress! The most exciting part of the day was finding out where all of our friends matched. Congrats everyone!
After all the excitement of the match, we somehow found energy to have a birthday celebration.
Carys informed me that a birthday party can not just involve cake. There must be a game or activity. Of course she was right, so I chose a dance party. I loved seeing these girls shake it! Thanks for a fun birthday!

You DO know Match Day is supposed to be about where he matched right? Because WHO COULD THINK ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE when Sadie is looking so darn cute?!?!?!?
So fun to see the cute pictures from match day last week! We had so much fun spending time with you and going to the luncheon. It was quite a celebration for Emily's birthday and the dance was a blast!! How is Sadie doing? She was such a fantastic traveler!
