NC Visitors

Mike's family came to visit in May. We had so much fun with Stacey, Carys, Madison, Grandma & Grandpa. Here are some of the highlights from our week together:
We drove to Virginia, rented bikes and rode the Virginia Creeper Trail. It was so beautiful!

During Mike's lunch break, we picked him up from the hospital and went to a park to eat and play.

Carys and Madison enjoyed treats from the ice cream truck that drove through our neighborhood.

These girls sure love their Grandpa. They are taking a break from touring at the historic Old Salem.

We had fun making pizza. Carys and Madison helped Emily make the dough, then Mike demonstrated how to toss the dough.

It rained a during their visit. You can see the storm clouds in the background.

Stacey got some great shots of our little Sadie. This is at Wake Forest University.

Aunt Stacey brought Sadie this cute little tutu.

Sadie loves to be tossed in the air by her Daddy, but it made her Grandma so nervous.

More pictures at Wake.

We went to the Lazy 5 Ranch where we took a wagon ride to see and feed animals. Here is Carys feeding a water buffalo.

Madison, Grandpa, Grandma and Sadie at the stables.

Stacey was brave enough to feed the giraffe right out of her mouth!

We went to a farm to pick strawberries.

We had a blast! Please come again!

I love the picture of Sadie at Wake with the two of you smooching in the background. Cute...but thinking about those 3 years of law school plus student loans doesn't make me feel very romantical!

What would it be like to have a super nice camera and some photography skills...
