Sadie and I just got back from a fun week in Arizona. We have so many fun memories and pictures to blog, but we'll start out with these. Sadie has very talented aunties who love to take pictures.

This week...

Sadie went to the doctor and got 3 shots. At 10 weeks, she was 10pounds 10ounces and 23inches. She's growing so fast! Matt & Sarah watched Sadie so Mike & I could go out for his birthday. It was nice to have a break and Sadie didn't seem to mind at all. We had a combined birthday party for Mike & John Adam. There was lots of sushi and lots of fun!

Happy 30th Sarah Grace!

We had a blast at our friend Sarah's birthday party at an art gallery downtown. Her husband Matt did a great job with all the arrangements and the surprise.

Our blog has now become a blog about Sadie... Not us.

Sadie is growing... but a watermelon from our garden is giving her some competition.

Stacey, Carys & Madison Visit

Sadie meets her grandparents

Mike's parents were able to come meet Sadie during her first week. She loved being held by her grandma.

Emily's grandparent's dropped in during their trip to see east coast states. We showed them around Winston-Salem, and later in the week met up with them in Charlottesville. Sadie is their first great-granddaughter.


Emily's mom came and helped us for a month and her dad joined us the last week of Grammy's visit. Sadie loved camping and hiking with Pop-pop.
