Arizona Trip

I went to Mesa last weekend for Mark's wedding and my mom and sisters threw me a baby shower! It was fun to see everybody and my baby got lots of great stuff! She is one lucky little girl!

My neice Carys was so helpful with opening gifts. She will be a great older cousin to my baby!

My sister Alisa was due yesterday... still waiting for the little guy to make his appearance.

Mike was sad that he had to miss Mark's wedding, but I was happy to represent the family. Mark & Cami make a beautiful couple, congrats!

Wedding Weekend Part I

Last weekend we were in Arizona for two weddings. My older brother Adam was married on Saturday, March 8th and Mike's youngest brother Matt was married on Monday, March 10th. It was a fun and busy trip!

My sisters said you could tell we had been away from AZ for awhile because Mike & I wanted our picture taken with the cactus in the background.

Sisters. Alisa & I are pregnant together. So fun!

Mike managed to help out and study for the upcoming board exam at the same time, thanks to recorded lectures on his MP3 player.

The colors looked great and I thought the cake was so cute.

It was especially fun to live in the same house with my little sister for a couple days. I miss you Rach!

Anniversary and more...

Today we celebrated our 4th anniversary - with pouring rain - just like the day we got married.

20 week bump. Halfway there!

Some of us girls got together and made hair bows while our husbands played XBox. Thanks Emma for teaching me to be crafty. Now I just have to hope that my little girl has some hair - otherwise Mike will have to wear them to put them to good use.

What a day!

Our Valentine's Day went like this:

It snowed last night, so this morning we had a beautiful white blanket covering our lawn. The best part of snow in Winston-Salem is that it's fun, exciting and gone by the afternoon!
We went to the doctor and after waiting for what seemed like eternity, we got to see some amazing pictures of our little baby.

What a pretty profile! I think she's trying to tell us something, or maybe laughing at us.
We are so happy to be having a little girl. I just had to have Mike take me to the mall to pick out her first outfit. There were a lot of cute things, but I couldn't decide on anything. I guess we have lots of time for shopping before baby comes :)

I'm 16 weeks, 5 days pregnant and counting!!! We are so excited and are having fun spreading the news.
