Stacey's Visit

Mike's sister Stacey works as a flight attendant and yesterday she had a 24 hour lay over in Charlotte, which is about 1 1/2 hours away from us. Even with no sleep, she was still super fun! We took her to see Wake Forest University and the medical school. We also went to Furnitureland South, the largest furniture showroom in the world! (Mike calls it the Disneyland of furniture.) We zipped right through, and still managed to take about 2 hours. You could really spend an entire day and not see everything. I can't wait until next weekend when she has another trip and we get to show her more of North Carolina!

Louisville Slugger

Earlier this month I spent a week in Louisville, Kentucky. It was my first time in Kentucky and my first overnight business trip since I moved to NC. My former job in AZ required about 50% travel, which was way too much for me. I didn't really mind this one trip to Kentucky, espcially since I don't anticipate much travel for work in my future. Besides, the city was beautiful and most importantly... I got to see the huge Louisville Slugger!

More fun in Utah

As an added bonus to the wedding weekend, we stayed a couple extra days and visited with family and friends. It was so fun to see Beth, Blythe and Patty. We also got to see Jessica, her cute boys, Sammy and Dean. My parents and little sis Rachel met us in the Phoenix airport. I think it was a the first time I've enjoyed a lay-over. Thanks for a great time everyone!

Reynolda House

While my Aunt Trulee and Uncle Jay were in town visiting
we went to the Reynolda House and Gardens. It was so
beautiful there and it was so fun to be with family. We
love visitors!

Cinco De Mayo

We celebrated Cinco De Mayo with our med school friends. Our fiesta was complete with a piƱata. The boys hung it up and then had a great time laughing at us girls as we took turns swinging at it. (I won't be showing any of those pitcures.) We had a blast!

Visiting AZ

I got to visit family and friends in AZ at the end of April. It was a quick weekend trip, and lots of fun.

Carys and Madison, always making me laugh!
